In the commonwealth’s 10th congressional district race, Scott Perry defeated Janelle Stelson for the House seat representing Dauphin County and parts of Cumberland and York counties.
The incumbent was leading his democratic party opponent by a margin of 50.8% to 49.2%, with 99% of the vote as of 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, according to the PA Department of State.
Perry has represented the district since 2019.
Among his top issues, according to Ballotpedia, are lowering taxes and regulations for businesses, replacing the Affordable Care Act, and reducing government spending.
Perry graduated from Advanced Individual Training and United States Army War College before receiving his BS in business administration management from Pennsylvania State University in 1991. He is also a brigadier general in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
